Built using 6DJ8 (ECC88) dual triodes, which provide a combination of sufficient current, enough gain and a simple but very smart application of a differential pair as a single stage, this amplifier is tolerant to impedance variations typical of headphones.
These tubes are compatible with 6DJ8 and can be used as direct replacements: ECC88, 6922, E88CC.
