Ebay is full of good deals. I secured this HP3478A for little money. The battery saving the calibration data had to be replaced, it was 29 years old and specified for 10 years. This needed a significant effort with diverse obsolete technologies like GPIB adapters and cables. With the help of fine folks at EEVblog, all is good and my benchtop 5.5 digits multi-meter has become my favorite tool.
